1. Description of Service

ShareBeam provides a free, Peer-to-Peer (P2P) file sharing web application that allows users to transfer files directly between devices over local networks or the internet using WebRTC technology. We provide the signaling infrastructure to connect devices, but we do not host, store, or monitor the transferred files.

2. Acceptable Use

You are solely responsible for the content of the files you share using ShareBeam. You agree not to use the service to:

• Distribute copyrighted material without authorization.
• Share malicious software, viruses, or destructive code.
• Engage in any illegal activities or violate any applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

Because ShareBeam is a true P2P service, we do not have the technical ability to monitor or moderate the files you transfer.

3. User-Generated QR Codes & Links

ShareBeam offers free tools that let registered users create QR codes, including dynamic QR codes that redirect to a destination web address chosen by the user. By creating such QR codes you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the destination websites and content your QR codes point to.
• ShareBeam does not create, host, control, review, or endorse those destinations, and acts only as a neutral redirection and analytics tool.
• ShareBeam bears no liability whatsoever for any third-party destination, including any harm, loss, or damage arising from it.
• You must not create QR codes that link to phishing, scams, malware, adult content involving minors, or any unlawful, deceptive, or harmful material.
• We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without notice, to disable any QR code, delete any link, and suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is being used for abuse.

If you believe a QR code created on ShareBeam links to harmful or illegal content, please report it through our Contact Us page so we can investigate and remove it.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. ShareBeam makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the availability, reliability, or speed of file transfers. Since transfers rely on your local network and internet connection, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ShareBeam or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

6. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
